Financial Reporting Professional

About the role:

  • Prepare and submit comprehensive financial reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage the quarterly closing process, ensuring all entries are reconciled and verified.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on IFRS 17 standards implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Deep understanding of financial reporting standards, particularly IFRS 17.
  • Proven track record of managing regulatory submissions, with direct experience handling MAS submissions being a significant advantage.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with various stakeholders and presenting complex financial information clearly.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
Requirements:

A background in Big 4 audit, specifically those with experience auditing insurance clients, is an added advantage.
