Job Title:
Business Systems Development Specialist
This role plays a pivotal part in driving the growth, maintenance and enhancement of HR systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand their requirements, develop functional and technical design specifications and implement efficient enhancements that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand and prioritise their requirements
- Developing functional and technical design specifications
- Designing and developing efficient enhancements to meet business needs
- Working with different teams on system integration projects
- Providing consultancy support and technical training
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in project management, including planning, overseeing and supporting processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in IT or Computer Science
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT Analyst, ERP consultant or similar roles in the area of Human Resource Management System
Technical Skills Required: Experience in providing technical support to PeopleSoft ERP systems, specifically version 9.0 or above, with strong PeopleSoft technical skills including Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interface, Workflow, Integration Broker etc.
Business Skills Required: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive discussions towards core business needs. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively across all levels in an organisation.
