Job Title: Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our managed services team, you will be responsible for providing proactive support to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage client infrastructure and solutions to prevent and resolve technical incidents and problems.
- Identify and investigate root causes of incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide telephonic or chat support to clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Schedule maintenance activity windows for patching and configuration changes, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
- Follow established handover procedures to ensure seamless service continuity during shift changes.
- Report and escalate incidents as necessary, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on clients.
- Develop and maintain knowledge articles to improve incident resolution and reduce mean time to repair (MTTR).
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization of work processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing, or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or AWS Certified: Solutions Architect Associate, are highly desirable.
- Entry-level experience in troubleshooting and providing support in security, network, data centre, systems, and storage administration and monitoring services within a medium to large ICT organisation.
- Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products within the supported technical domain.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL processes.
