Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer

Job Overview
NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our managed services team, you will be responsible for providing proactive support to our clients to ensure the smooth operation of their IT infrastructure and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to identify potential issues and errors
- Investigate and resolve technical incidents and problems in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide telephonic or chat support to clients as needed
- Schedule maintenance activity windows for patching and configuration changes
- Follow established handover procedures to ensure service continuity
- Report and escalate incidents as necessary
- Ensure the efficient and comprehensive resolution of incidents and requests
- Update existing knowledge articles or create new ones to improve incident resolution
- Identify opportunities for work optimization and process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience)
- Certifications relevant to the services provided (certifications carry additional weightage on a candidate's qualification for the role)
- Relevant certifications include: CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified: Solutions Architect Associate, Veeam Certified Engineer, VMware certified Professional: Data Centre Virtualization, Zerto, pure, vxrail, Google Cloud Platform (gcp), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (oci)
- Entry-level experience with troubleshooting and providing support in security/network/data centre/systems/storage administration and monitoring services within a medium to large ICT organisation
- Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products within the supported technical domain
- Basic knowledge of ITIL processes
