Job Opportunity: Concrete Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team in the field of concrete production. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality concrete products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular testing of concrete raw materials and product performance, adhering to international test standards and specifications.
  • Assist in all measures related to product quality control, including monitoring and reporting on batch plant operations.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure accurate delivery arrangements and achievement of production targets, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Educate staff and drivers on the importance of good quality control for concrete, promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.
  • Conduct site surveys and attend coordination meetings for delivery and concreting arrangements, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Inspect equipment and propose suitable materials and protection methods for large concrete pours, minimizing risks and optimizing outcomes.
  • Carry out mockup testing and install monitoring devices on site to monitor concrete quality, providing data-driven insights for improvement.
  • Assess concrete conditions (e.g. surface, temperature) and advise on proper finishing and protection for freshly cast concrete, ensuring optimal results.
  • Collect and report real-time data to contractors at site; communicate corrective actions when necessary, resolving issues promptly.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues at batching plants and customer sites, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Material Science / Chemistry or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in relevant disciplines.

  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of concrete properties, admixture technologies, and applications, as well as relevant industry standards and specifications.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, enabling effective communication with colleagues and clients.
