Job Overview

Pan-United, a global leader in low-carbon concrete technologies, seeks a motivated individual to join their team as a Concrete Specialist. As part of this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular testing and monitoring of concrete raw materials and product performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-house testing to monitor concrete raw materials and product performance, adhering to international test standards.
  • Assist in all measures related to product quality control.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure accurate delivery arrangements and achievement of production targets.
  • Educate staff and drivers on the importance of good quality control for concrete.
  • Conduct site surveys and attend coordination meetings for delivery and concreting arrangement.
  • Inspect equipment and propose suitable materials and protection methods for large concrete pour.
  • Carry out mockup testing and install monitoring devices on site to monitor concrete quality.
  • Assess concrete conditions and advise on proper finishing and protection for freshly cast concrete.
  • Collect and report real-time data to contractors at site; communicate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues at batching plants and customer sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Material Science / Chemistry or equivalent. Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply. Familiarity with the fundamentals of concrete properties, admixture technologies and applications is required. Proficiency in written and spoken English, as well as strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills, are also essential.
