Job Title: Facilities Operations Specialist

As a key member of our maintenance team, the Facilities Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of LNG facilities and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repair, as well as experience working with cryogenic systems, pumps, compressors, and control systems.

This role involves performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on LNG facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, overhauls, and testing, as well as monitoring equipment for leaks, corrosion, and abnormalities.

In addition, the Facilities Operations Specialist will assist in commissioning, start-up, and shutdown of LNG systems and facilities, and coordinate with operations teams to minimize downtime during maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & Repair:
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubricating moving parts, replacing filters, and inspecting equipment for damage or wear.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults in LNG systems.
    • Conduct inspections, overhauls, and testing of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with industry safety procedures, permit-to-work (PTW) systems, and HSE regulations.
    • Monitor equipment for leaks, corrosion, and abnormalities to prevent hazardous occurrences.
    • Participate in training and skill development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in LNG operations and maintenance.
  • Operations Support:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules.
    • Coordinate with operations teams to minimize downtime during maintenance.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.

Experience:

  • 3 years of maintenance experience in LNG, petrochemical, oil & gas, or related industries.
  • Hands-on experience with cryogenic systems, pumps, compressors, and control systems preferred.
  • Possess Class 3 driving license.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Team player with strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in outdoor, confined space, or cryogenic environments.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call duty when required.
