IT Support Specialist Role

The primary focus of this IT role is to deliver exceptional support services across a global organization. To succeed, you will require technical expertise in endpoint management, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID. A passion for problem-solving and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and provide advanced support for company devices, including laptops, workstations, and servers.
  • Manage endpoints via Microsoft Intune, ensuring seamless Autopilot enrollment, configuration, and device health monitoring.
  • Perform identity and access tasks in Microsoft Entra ID, including user and service account creation, changes, and deprovisioning.
  • Collaborate with the ICT Manager on IT implementation projects, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Assist with network and security appliance configuration, maintenance, and monitoring.
  • Resolve technical issues with company devices and implement system patching and backups.
  • Develop and maintain accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle, ensuring efficient procurement, deployment, transfers, and retirements.
  • Work on service tickets within defined SLAs, keeping users informed and documenting fixes, how-tos, and runbooks/KB articles.
  • Support small IT implementation projects and scheduled after-hours maintenance on a rotation basis.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background, preferably with a diploma in computer science or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
  • Experience working in the defence industry is highly desirable but not mandatory.
