Job Title: Governance Specialist

The Project Governance Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the execution of projects. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting project progress, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report project progress, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Pull together disparate information in a timely fashion to support effective decision-making and assist in critical aspects of large projects such as project administration, staff onboarding, and other administrative tasks.
  • Collate and maintain staff numbers and types, seating plans, and assets.
  • Liaise and chase up stakeholders for information to consolidate for reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years' relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
  • Analytical skills: able to analyze data, requirements, and gaps to review and identify areas for improvement.
  • Attention to detail: able to identify potential errors, discrepancies, and problem areas.
  • Good communication skills: strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex terminology and issues in layman's terms.
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to build good working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Time management: must manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and team player: actively track deliverables, follow up with teammates proactively, and collaborate with colleagues when needed.
