Job Title:

Governance and Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our organization in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have experience in both consultancy and industry, with a focus on internal controls and governance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering the G3 control program across the Division.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support OpCos throughout the internal audit cycle from preparation to management responses.
  • Address internal audit points to achieve effective closure within agreed due dates.
  • Contribute to Project Zennith to ensure appropriate controls are built into the ERP system.
  • Perform reviews of OpCos to improve governance areas such as Segregation of Duties and Delegation of Authorities Matrix.
  • Develop and implement a structured governance way of working.
  • Create and harmonize internal controls policies and best practices across the organization.
  • Adhere to trade compliance regulations through review of operations and customer on-boarding processes.
  • Support ad hoc tasks or micro projects such as fraud investigations and OpCo process recovery improvements.
  • Function as the 'flag bearer' of governance within the organization.
  • Coach and improve knowledge and skills of OpCo management in internal controls and governance.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Act as Financial Analyst to support APAC quarterly forecast, annual budget planning, and working capital management.

About the Role:

This is a key position that requires a strong understanding of internal controls, governance, and financial analysis.

The successful candidate will work closely with OpCos to develop and implement effective governance practices.

They will also provide guidance and support to OpCo management in improving their knowledge and skills in internal controls and governance.
