As a specialist in nutrition and dietetics, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and care to patients with diverse health conditions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and advocate for better nutrition practices within the community.

Major Responsibilities:

Clinical Dietetics

  • Develop and implement evidence-based MNT plans for patients with complex nutritional needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Communicate nutrition care plans effectively with patients, family members, or caregivers.
  • Manage workload efficiently while maintaining safe patient care standards.

Education, Research & Training

  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to nutrition-related research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Design and deliver health promotion and nutrition education materials.
  • Engage in outreach events and training sessions for multidisciplinary teams.

Food Service

  • Provide therapeutic diet education to food service personnel.
  • Liaise with the food service team to coordinate therapeutic diet requirements.
  • Assist in menu and recipe development, analysis, and implementation.

Administration and Leadership

  • Support administrative and operational duties as required.
  • Contribute to daily clinical work operations management and coordination.
  • Lead group tasks and duties effectively.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Master in Dietetics from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 6 months clinical internship experience.
  • Eligibility for membership with Singapore Nutrition & Dietetics Association or other professional associations.

Key Attributes:

  • Proficiency in written/spoken English and fluency in Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, or dialects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated on skills and evidence-based medical and nutrition information.
