Job Title: Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team. As a Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of patients and providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and education.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Dietetics or Nutrition with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Dietetics or Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics recognized by the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA). A full Dietitian Member with SNDA or any recognized Dietetics Association membership is also required.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of clinical work experience in hospital settings and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the nutritional needs of patients and provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and education
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in research studies and contribute to the development of new knowledge in the field of nutrition
  • Provide guidance to foodservice staff on suitable therapeutic diets
  • Review and update clinical care plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Dietetics or Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics recognized by the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA)

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time position working Monday and Tuesday from 8:30am to 6:00pm.
