BIM Project Specialist

We are seeking an experienced BIM Project Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design coordination team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed building information models (BIMs) for mechanical and electrical design disciplines.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and CAD/BIM managers to ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Develop CAD drawings from rough sketches and specifications provided by engineers.
- Create BIM models from CAD drawings according to individual project standards and requirements.
- Develop 2D documentation as per BIM standards used in the project and organization.
- Maintain updated BIM models and ensure their accuracy based on the latest information provided.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to resolve design changes and model challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a drafter or similar role.
- Diploma in Building & Construction or Drafting related certificates.
- At least 2 years' relevant experience in design coordination, preferably on different scales of projects in the construction industry.
- Excellent planning skills in managing modeling and drafting works.
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering design and construction, with mechanical design knowledge being a strong advantage.
- Possess excellent technical drafting skills.
- Passionate, team player, and willingness to learn.
