Job Title: GIS Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced GIS developer with 4-8 years of experience to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining GIS-based applications, and working with other developers to integrate these applications into larger systems.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of GIS technology and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop GIS-based applications and workflows
  • Work with other developers to integrate GIS-based applications into larger systems
  • Ensure that GIS-based applications are scalable and maintainable
  • Develop and maintain documentation for GIS-based applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with GIS-based applications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4-8 years of experience in GIS development
  • Strong understanding of GIS technology, including GIS Server, GIS Online, and GIS Desktop
  • Experience with GIS APIs, including ArcObjects, GIS Server REST API, and GIS JavaScript API
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and/or .NET
  • Experience with geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, KML, and Shapefiles
  • Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
