Job Description

We are seeking an experienced GIS professional to develop and implement geographic information system solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in spatial data modeling, geodatabase design, and complex geoprocessing.

  • Create and configure GIS solutions for urban planning, utilities, transportation, natural resources, and retail analytics.
  • Design and deploy data models, geodatabases, map services, and APIs.
  • Integrate GIS with enterprise databases using web services and REST APIs.
  • Support the development of custom GIS apps, dashboards, and mobile field solutions.
  • Automate workflows (ETL processes, batch geoprocessing) for efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in Esri ArcGIS (Desktop/Pro, Enterprise, ArcGIS Online) or QGIS.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (ArcPy, GeoPandas) and ETL tools such as FME.
  • Ability to build and automate web maps and apps using JavaScript (ArcGIS API, Leaflet/Mapbox).
  • Deploying and managing GIS solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Integrating GIS with ERP systems using REST/OGC web services.
