Senior COTS Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Professional to join our team. This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced software engineer who specializes in ESRI GIS technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining spatial data solutions using ESRI products and FME, while providing technical leadership in geospatial services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and customization of GIS applications using ESRI's ArcGIS Enterprise platform
  • Design and implement FME workflows for spatial data transformation and integration
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs for geospatial services and class analysis
  • Architect solutions that integrate GIS capabilities into enterprise applications
  • Optimize spatial queries and improve performance of GIS services
  • Provide technical leadership in geospatial architecture decisions
  • Mentor team members on GIS best practices and spatial data handling
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in GIS development and spatial data analysis
  • Strong expertise in ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise suite, including: ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise SDK, ArcGIS Pro
  • Extensive experience with FME Desktop and FME Server
  • Proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs for spatial services
  • Strong understanding of spatial databases (Oracle Spatial, PostGIS)
  • Experience with Python scripting for GIS automation
  • Knowledge of web mapping technologies and standards (OGC)
  • Experience working in agile development environments
