Calibration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laboratory equipment is calibrated according to required specifications and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee calibration activities in-house, on-site, or external.
  • Arrange appointments for testing equipment due for calibration.
  • Ensure all laboratory equipment is calibrated according to required specifications and standards.
  • Issue shipment forms, pack, and label equipment for return after calibration.
  • Maintain and update records for all documentation related to the calibration process.
  • Conduct detailed inspections, calibrations, adjustments, and testing/repairs of equipment.
  • Oversee and assess the effectiveness of calibration procedures.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments.
  • Document calibration results and generate calibration certificates.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated within due dates and maintain proper records.
  • Investigate and resolve equipment performance issues and anomalies.
  • Support audit and quality system requirements.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for calibration services and coordination.
  • Maintain and update the calibration database/system.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and best engineering practices.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Higher Nitec or Diploma in Engineering in any field preferably in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanic.
  • Working experience in production & manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Class 3 license is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduate welcome to apply.
