Job Overview

This role involves the calibration of equipment as distributed by the respective manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and issuing final reports, liaising with clients on technical issues when required, maintaining draft report format/templates, and ensuring good housekeeping at workstation/areas.


Responsibilities
  • Calibrate equipment according to specifications
  • Generate and issue final reports
  • Liaise with clients on technical issues
  • Maintain draft report format/templates
  • Ensure good housekeeping at workstation/areas
  • Assist in the development and extension of new calibration scope
  • Increase calibration productivity and efficiency
  • Expand business relationships while interacting with customers
  • Constantly strive to deliver outstanding services
  • Manage timely trouble shooting and assist customers as necessary
  • Ensure availability to customers
  • Build and foster collaboration with internal teams involved in service delivery
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory Quality Management Systems including ISO
  • Promote a positive image of the company
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma education in engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in equipment measurement/calibration
  • Applies judgment and acts according to the SGS standards of ethics and integrity
  • Knowledge of ISO systems and procedures
