As a Server Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation to clients on server infrastructure design, implementation, and management, with a specialization in Wintel (Windows Server) environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Active Directory (AD) environments, including domain controllers, user and group management, Group Policy Object (GPO) configuration, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and AD replication.
  • Manage and administer VMware virtualization infrastructure, including vSphere, ESXi hosts, virtual machines, and vCenter Server.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services.
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 (M365) services, including Exchange Online.
  • Implement security best practices across server environments, Azure, and M365 services, including hardening server configurations, monitoring for security threats and vulnerabilities, and responding appropriately to mitigate risks.
  • Provide managed services for clients, including proactive monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution of server-related issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and recommend server solutions that align with their goals and objectives.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to client IT teams as needed.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in server administration, with a focus on Wintel (Windows Server), Active Directory, GPO, VMware, Azure, and M365 services.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in server environments, Azure, and M365 services.
  • Experience in managing managed services for clients, including incident management, problem resolution, and service level management.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
