Job Role Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our pharmacy department, ensuring that patients receive high-quality services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and possess strong organizational abilities. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in preparing medication according to prescription or pharmacy requisition forms through pick and pack
• Receives, unpacks, and checks stocks against documents to ensure accuracy
• Arranges stocks on shelves in First-Expiry First-Out (FEFO) order
• Maintains cleanliness of pharmacy work areas and prepares for daily operations
• Provides quality customer service through answering telephone enquiries
• Calls and liaises with patients for home delivery services with valid prescriptions
• Arranges outstanding prescriptions by name and/or date
• Organizes dispensed prescriptions by running dates
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisors
