About the Role:

The Site Development Manager is a vital part of our project team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the timely completion and high-quality standards of our construction projects.

  • They will assist the Senior Site Manager in overseeing site works and manpower-related aspects, monitoring and reviewing the master construction program to identify any potential issues and developing catch-up programs as necessary.
  • Supervise engineers and foremen, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and workmanship standards, checking the quality and quantity of work by subcontractors and resolving any discrepancies or technical difficulties that may arise.
  • Create detailed programs for the site team to follow, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Plan all works on site, including program schedules, construction methods, forecasting equipment, material, and manpower requirements, and controlling usage and wastages.
  • Liaise with consultants on structural works and technical department submissions, coordinating between subcontractors, vendors, internal departments, and monitoring site manpower, material, and equipment demands to meet schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to safety practices on site at all times.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Prior experience in building projects for at least 3 years, preferably on projects valued at $100M or more.
