Job Opportunity in Private Banking Compliance

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Private Banking KYC Analyst. The ideal candidate will have experience in compliance and risk management, with a strong understanding of AML/CFT and CDD standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and compliant onboarding of new clients, reviewing and assessing onboarding documentation, and identifying any deficiencies or red flags in client KYC, source of wealth, and background information.

In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will also provide guidance to Relationship Managers on KYC requirements, support them in meeting submission standards, and ensure proper risk classification based on client profile, SoW, and overall risk factors.

The successful candidate will work closely with both front office and control functions, coordinating with Financial Crime Compliance and other control functions to ensure that all cases are processed within SLA.

We require a Diploma or Degree in any relevant discipline, as well as 6 to 8 years of relevant Compliance/KYC/CDD experience in the Private Banking Space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the front office in ensuring timely and compliant onboarding of new clients
  • Review and assess onboarding documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with MAS regulations and internal policy standards
  • Identify and escalate any deficiencies or red flags in client KYC, source of wealth, and background information
  • Provide guidance to RMs on KYC requirements and support them in meeting submission standards
  • Ensure proper risk classification based on client profile, SoW, and overall risk factors
  • Collaborate effectively with both front office and control functions
