This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled English Creative Writing educator to join our team as a freelance educator.
- Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging English Creative Writing lessons to students in alignment with Singapore's national curriculum.
Use effective teaching strategies to foster interest and confidence in English Writing among students.
Establish a positive and conducive learning environment that encourages active participation and academic excellence.
Monitor student progress, identify learning gaps, and provide timely feedback and support.
Maintain open communication with parents regarding students' development and learning goals.
Develop meaningful relationships with students to promote motivation, discipline, and long-term learning success.
Requirements:
- Must be NIE trained or have a strong understanding of the Singapore English Writing syllabus.
- Minimum 1 year of group teaching experience or private tutoring in English Writing.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Patience, nurturing, and genuine investment in student development and well-being.
- Able to commit to a consistent part-time teaching schedule.
- Willingness to travel for on-site assignments.
Work Arrangements:
- Every Tuesday: 3.30pm to 5pm and 5.30 to 7pm at Compassvale Lane.
- Job Type: Part-time, Permanent, Contract, Freelance.
- Contract Length: 12 months.
- Pay: $45.00 per hour.
