About the Role:

The Senior Merchandiser, South East Asia will play a key role in supporting the Fendi merchandising function for South East Asia. This position will be responsible for coordinating and supporting each buying season, analyzing sales performance, and defining product assortment according to the specificity of South East Asia markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandising & Product Training:
    • Develop and implement launch plans, allocation matrices, and sales strategies for every launch.
    • Analyze sales performance through sell-through analysis and propose action plans to improve sales.
    • Assist in evaluating stock levels and establishing action plans to optimize inventory.
    • Support the preparation of product training materials and work with regional Visual Merchandising teams to develop visual merchandising guidelines.
    • Study competitors' pricing and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Commercial Follow-up:
    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on merchandise performance and customer feedback.
    • Support in re-ordering and initiating stock rebalancing when necessary.
    • Follow up on the development of quality and after-sales services.
    • Conduct market research on customer behavior, market trends, competitors' prices, and product offerings.
  • Buying:
    • Analyze and define product assortment according to the specificity of each South East Asia market.
    • Provide support in seasonal buying sessions, including providing input and preparing reports.
    • Consolidate merchandise information and order details to share with stores after buying.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong sensitivity to the luxury products universe.
  • Minimum 4 years of solid merchandising experience in high-end fashion.
  • Strong fashion sense, familiar with both local and overseas market situations and trends.
  • Strong analytics skills, detail-oriented, and numerically sensitive.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure on tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently but also collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
