Strategic IT Risk Manager

Job Description:
As an IT Governance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management of IT risk and compliance within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and assess compliance with relevant regulatory obligations and internal policies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular reviews of IT policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement IT governance frameworks to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement practical solutions for IT risk and compliance management.
- Provide expert advice on IT governance and risk management to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in IT risk management, IT security management, or IT audits in the Banking industry.
- Strong understanding of local and Chinese regulations, including MAS TRM, Cyber Hygiene, PDPA, and IT risk management and cyber security regulations of China.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
