Job Overview

Site Supervisors play a pivotal role in overseeing site work, ensuring it meets regulatory requirements and project objectives.

They are responsible for managing teams, resources, and equipment to achieve project goals. Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential to the success of the project.

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Developing daily plans to execute site work.
  • Ensuring work areas are accessible, materials, tools, manpower, and equipment have been arranged before work commences.
  • Reviewing and reporting work progress and consulting the Site Engineer for necessary actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong oral communication skills: The ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients is crucial.
  • Ability to understand drawings and method statements: A clear understanding of project plans and specifications is necessary for successful project execution.
  • Team player: The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is essential.
  • Good time management skills: Effective time management is critical to meeting project deadlines and milestones.
  • Sound understanding of work execution: A thorough understanding of project methodology, timeframes, productivity, and quality control is necessary.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure: The ability to remain composed and focused in high-pressure environments is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience as a project site supervisor.
  • Experience working as a project site supervisor in commercial, residential, plant, and civil projects.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools in site operations.
