Job Title: Technical Infrastructure Support Specialist

 

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team, providing first-line support for users and ensuring seamless infrastructure operations.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for user support queries at the Service Desk.
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement infrastructure projects, guaranteeing continuous operation.
  • Monitor infrastructure stability, including WiFi, printers, and SharePoint systems.
  • Manage hardware inventory, including PCs, scanners, consumables, and perform regular Storeroom clean-ups.
  • Respond to internal and external calls regarding IT incidents or service requests, resolving or escalating user requests accordingly.
  • Ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow-up of all incidents/service requests.
  • Provide statistical reports on support cases and incidents.
  • Support and regularly check conference rooms to ensure they are working properly.
  • Handle vendors for hardware-related changes, repairs, and quotations.
  • Assist new joiners with providing requested hardware packages.
  • Help users with relocations within the building.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant discipline.
  • 1-2 years' experience in user support and helpdesk duties.
  • Strong problem-solving and system troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows desktop, and Apple iOS.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Ticketing system is a plus.
