Business Development HR Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Development HR Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in driving people strategies that enable business success.

Job Description

This is a highly sought-after opportunity for individuals who want to make a meaningful impact in the field of human resources and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

You will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into impactful people strategies that drive performance, agility, and growth. This includes leading talent acquisition efforts, driving talent development initiatives, and owning the employee lifecycle.

You will also provide timely, practical guidance on HR policies, practices, and employment matters. Additionally, you will identify capability gaps and deliver targeted learning and development solutions in partnership with business leaders.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and growth aspirations. You will be a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees, providing strategic HR support across departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary education; degree holder or in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certification is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR roles, including exposure to various areas of the HR function.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with employees at all levels, both at individual and group level.
  • Proven experience in managing employee relations and resolving complex workplace issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in HR analytics tools (e.g. Visier).
  • Background in HR Operations and Payroll is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Results-oriented with good business acumen and ability to prioritise.
