Senior Estimator and Quantity Control Specialist

Job Description:
As a Senior Estimator and Quantity Control Specialist, you will be responsible for studying contract documents, taking accurate measurements, and preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ). You will also assist with contract administration, progress claims, and liaise with the Client's representative on claims and variations. Additionally, you will source quotations, compare pricing, and prepare BQ for tender pricing.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ) for projects.
2. Assist with contract administration, including reviewing and processing progress claims.
3. Liaise with the Client's representative to resolve any contractual or variation issues.
4. Source quotations from suppliers and compare pricing to ensure best value for the project.
5. Prepare BQ for tender pricing and assist in the tender process.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Excellent estimation and quantity control skills.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
