Job Opportunity: Senior Business Development Manager

The Bio-Energy Business Leader role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on the challenge of leading and growing our Bio-Energy business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Grow Bio-Energy Business: Develop and execute strategies to drive growth in our Bio-Energy business, including identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Solicit Business and Secure New Projects: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop project proposals, and secure funding for new projects.
  • Cultivate and Maintain Strong Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying new opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Overall Management of Bio-Energy Related Projects: Manage and deliver Bio-Energy projects and tasks, ensuring timely, technical, and budget-compliant completion.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years hands-on experience in design and project management of biomass/WtE/RDF/biofuels projects; track record of leading, developing, and growing business lines and soliciting business.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Biomass/WtE/Biofuel/RDF design principles, process, and operation philosophy; proficiency in engineering software tools such as SteamPro or similar simulation tools advantageous.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams; effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team environments and with clients and stakeholders.
