Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Marine Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fleet, ensuring that all vessels are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • You will work closely with our crew management team to plan, schedule, and deploy crew members across the fleet, ensuring optimal coverage and adherence to work-rest regulations.
  • Your expertise in regulatory compliance will be crucial in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of maritime regulations, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
  • You will also be responsible for coordinating and monitoring crew training programs, including competency assessments and certification compliance.
  • In addition, you will assist in identifying crew requirements and support the recruitment and selection process for seafarers and cadets.
  • As a Marine Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet, while also contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies or a related field is required.
  • Preferably possess a Certificate of Competency (COC) Class 2 or 3.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in the marine industry is necessary.
  • Knowledge of local port waters is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Marine operational systems is essential.
  • A strong team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
