Job Description

As a key member of our Pricing team, you will work closely with senior actuarial colleagues to provide support across various pricing activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and analyzing data to help win and maintain profitable business.
  • Supporting senior actuarial colleagues with quote work by conducting research, understanding task context, and making recommendations.
  • Documenting relevant considerations in pricing papers and demonstrating thought processes under guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Assisting in experience reviews for in-force treaty reviews, including data collation, analysis, and documentation of results.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the reinsurance industry, particularly in Pricing or Valuation.
  • Actuarial exam progress toward fellowship of a professional actuarial body.
  • Experience with Prophet, MoSes, Tyche, or similar modeling platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver tasks on time.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with actuarial and non-actuarial stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
