Rail Transit Business Development Manager Position

We are seeking a seasoned business development expert to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the rail transit system.

  • This position will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy to establish our company as a leading provider of products and services in rail transit systems.
  • The successful candidate will lead civil and structural engineering functions to ensure operational readiness, maintenance, and compliance of rail infrastructure assets within the network.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue targets by identifying, developing, and implementing business growth opportunities and sourcing partners to support business expansion within Singapore and beyond.
  • Forecast and manage expenses to meet expected revenue and profitability for the assigned cost centre.
  • Review commercial/contract requirements, prepare tender/bid submission, seek approval from management, and participate in tender/bidding evaluation or negotiation together with technical teams from internal departments and sub-contractors.
  • Work with finance, legal, and other counterparts to perform financial and business analysis, including risk assessment, to achieve organic business growth or via merger and acquisition.
  • Project execution, monitoring, and cost control management for secured projects of the assigned cost centre that are completed according to expected time and schedule as per contract, managed efficiently and effectively, and managed profitability within approved budget.
  • Recommend or approve sub-contractors' proposals.
