Card Payments Specialist

 

We are looking for a Card Payments Specialist to join our Cards product team. This role involves working with large enterprise users to uncover unmet needs, gather market signals, and translate them into opportunities that drive monetization.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying ways to reduce or eliminate costs, and when possible, convert those costs into new revenue streams. This may involve inspecting and optimizing network economics holistically, as well as designing ways to transform transaction data into value for both merchants and the broader network.

 

  • Responsibilities:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build and execute on a roadmap to enable card payments for Stripe's users.
  • Identify opportunities to enrich transaction data and design ways to transform that data into value for merchants and the broader network.
  • Deliver improvements to Stripe's card payments, such as supporting more flexible authorization and capture scenarios that meet merchant cashflow needs while maintaining compliance and reliability.
  • Work across engineering, risk, and business teams to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
