As a locum phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients through venipuncture. This involves explaining the blood taking process to patients and ensuring that blood samples are properly labelled.
To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum Nitec in Nursing or relevant phlebotomy certification. A minimum of one year experience in phlebotomy is also required.
On-the-job training is provided, but prior experience is essential. You will work 5.5 days per week in a dynamic healthcare environment.
