Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a senior technical expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving complex engineering problems, maintaining project team accomplishments, and ensuring the operation of analytical equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering who can provide exceptional problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information, researching, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques, recommending solutions, preparing drawings, schematics, and diagrams, evaluating components, materials, and suppliers, resolving design integration issues, developing specifications and safety standards, performing installations.
  • Maintain project team accomplishments by communicating essential information, coordinating actions, obtaining expert input, reviewing open issues and action items, contributing information to team meetings and reports, escalating project completion impediments.
  • Ensure operation of analytical equipment by calibrating equipment, completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety of working environment.
  • Promote improvement.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Microelectronics, Aeronautical, Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting of complex or advanced machineries.
  • Ability to assess, troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical parts and components.
  • Ability to manage basic engineering projects such as test fixtures and platform and writing of SOP.
  • Able to read basic mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and technical specification documentation.
  • Understand basic Semiconductor and Microelectronics fundamentals and protocol.
  • Bilingual in both spoken and written Chinese and English - to liaise with Chinese speaking associates.
  • Proactive, innovative and 'think out of the Box' personality.
