Senior Life Insurance Actuary Position

We seek an accomplished Actuary to join our life actuarial team, focused on high-impact projects that will shape our services. You will build valuable relationships with clients and develop strong capabilities through formal training and collaboration with senior mentors and talented colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or work as part of a project team delivering client engagements in areas including IFRS 17, Appointed Actuary work, actuarial valuation, pricing, product development, actuarial modeling, Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) and due diligence.
- Evaluate financial risk, product distribution and capital issues.
- Work with advanced financial modeling approaches and systems, designing valuation and Asset Liability Management (ALM) frameworks.
- Strong understanding of economic or market issues and the ability to interpret their impact on clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills.
- Strong analytical and creative skills.
- Ability to leverage technology to continually learn and improve service delivery.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the life actuarial team or an actuarial consulting firm.
- Newly or nearly qualified with either the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), the Society of Actuaries (US) or the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
- Good knowledge of Prophet software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Depth of experience in at least one of the following areas: financial and regulatory reporting, product and distribution strategy, ERM / Solvency II.
