We partner with a leading life insurer to drive real business impact through actuarial insights. A Manager (IFRS 17) is needed to join their dynamic actuarial function.

  • Take ownership of IFRS 17 financial reporting and analysis across life insurance products.
  • Drive Prophet modelling enhancements and support transition work in alignment with IFRS 17 standards.
  • Collaborate across actuarial, finance, and risk teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting deliverables.
  • Deliver insights to senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the IFRS 17 financial reporting process ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain Prophet models to enhance forecasting capabilities.
  • Support the implementation of IFRS 17 standards by providing technical expertise.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Prophet is essential.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS 17 principles and actuarial reporting frameworks.
  • Self-driven, analytical, and capable of working independently while collaborating across teams.
