Responsibilities

  • Support client managers with pricing and profitability analyses, including proposals and treaty negotiations.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings, including presentations and technical summaries.
  • Provide market insights by analysing publicly available data on industry trends across Southeast Asia.
  • Track performance and ensure alignment across pricing, actual experience, and valuation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to implement new treaties.
  • Respond to client requests and contribute actuarial perspectives to client relationship initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of actuarial experience, preferably in life or health reinsurance or insurance.
  • Experience in reinsurance pricing, valuation, or monitoring.
  • Progress toward recognized actuarial qualification (e.g. FSA, FIA).
  • Proficiency in actuarial tools and software (e.g. Excel, R, Python).
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to work independently and collaborate effectively.
