Senior Actuarial Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Professional to join our Regional Actuarial Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced actuary to drive impact across Reinsurance Pricing and Reserving.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving pricing excellence, developing pricing tools, and providing commercial actuarial perspectives to new business initiatives. You will also contribute to the development of pricing governance frameworks and documentation standards.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will thrive under pressure, take initiative, and communicate complex ideas with clarity and confidence.

This role requires a deep understanding of reinsurance pricing and reserving models, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality actuarial inputs to finance and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing of reinsurance treaties across multiple lines of business
  • Review and develop pricing tools for reinsurance business
  • Provide pricing insights and portfolio analytics
  • Contribute to the development of pricing governance frameworks and documentation standards
  • Review and develop actuarial reserving models and processes
Requirements:
  • Fellow of a recognized actuarial institute (e.g., FIA, FSA, FIAA)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial studies
  • Minimum of 8 years of General Insurance actuarial experience, with at least 5 years in a reinsurance pricing role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and tools
  • Demonstrates initiative and maintains high standards under tight deadlines
