Job Title: Culinary Innovation SpecialistDescription:

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Innovation Specialist to join our culinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative and unique menu items that cater to current market demands.

  • To source high-quality ingredients and cooking instruments required for menu development.
  • Ensure optimal usage of ingredients and minimize food wastage in the restaurant.
  • Conduct cost management and budgeting to optimize financial efficiency.
  • Participate in menu tastings to provide constructive feedback and elevate quality.
  • Educate kitchen staff on best practices, culinary knowledge, and techniques, including hygiene and food safety.
  • Provide recommendations to front-of-house staff on food and beverage pairings.
  • Offer feedback on the overall ambience and layout of the restaurant to ensure performance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team to curate time-limited menus and participate in special events.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Basic food hygiene and Workplace Safety & Health for Food Operation Certificate.
  • Ability to work well in a team and possess excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking skills and passion for delivering great food and service.
