Job Title: Innovation Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Culinary Specialist to join our team. As an Innovation Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for developing new recipes and refining existing ones through experimentation and sensory evaluation.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and launch new or improved recipes, and be responsible for documentation of new recipes and imparting of skills to team members.

The ideal candidate will have a recognized culinary qualification or similar discipline, and minimally 5 years of relevant experience in production kitchen and/or hotel industry. You will be creative in food preparation and presentation, passionate in food product development, and meticulous with good organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new recipes and refine existing ones through experimentation and sensory evaluation
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and launch new or improved recipes
  • Document and maintain records of new recipes and culinary techniques
  • Train and mentor junior chefs on new recipes and techniques

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognized culinary qualification or similar discipline
  • Minimally 5 years of relevant experience in production kitchen and/or hotel industry
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
