Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager

At GIC, we are seeking a talented professional to join our External Managers Department as an Associate Vice President.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence and monitoring of hedge fund managers and strategies to identify potential risks and mitigants. They will also perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate the performance and risk of hedge funds and portfolios of hedge funds, preparing and interpreting comprehensive performance reports, and presenting findings to senior management and investment committees.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in fund allocation, risk management, and/or capital markets;
- Experience analyzing and evaluating fixed income and credit securities and strategies is a plus;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to gather and interpret data to identify risks in strategies and asset classes;
- Knowledge of basic statistics, databases (MS SQL), and programming languages (Python, VBA, R, etc.);
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey findings to senior stakeholders and peers.
