Environmental Services Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our environmental services operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing hospital operations, with a strong focus on environmental services such as housekeeping, linen management, waste management, pest control and landscape maintenance. They will be responsible for developing operational models, workflows and emergency response plans, as well as managing an in-house team and outsourced partners. The successful candidate will have excellent planning and analytical skills, and be able to engage stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational models and workflows for environmental services
  • Manage an in-house core team and outsourced partners
  • Develop procurement and resourcing plans to support environmental services operations
  • Implement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency of operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop operational readiness, activation and transition (ORAT) plan

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in management of hospital operations
  • Good knowledge of front-end and back-end environmental services
  • Team player with excellent planning and analytical skills
  • Able to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment
