Job Title: Senior Executive Chef

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior executive chef to lead our kitchen operations. As a senior executive chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary team, managing food safety and quality, and developing innovative menus that cater to diverse customer preferences.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Chinese cuisine, particularly Si Chuan and Dong Bei dishes. They will possess excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the culinary team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Expertise: Develop and execute recipes in accordance with our standards, ensuring the authenticity of flavors, textures, and presentation.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with management to develop and update our menu, offering creative and appealing Si Chuan and Dong Bei dishes that cater to diverse customer preferences.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and ensuring a consistent and high-quality dining experience for customers.
  • Food Safety: Strictly adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including the proper handling, storage, and cooking of ingredients to ensure the safety and health of diners.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Chinese Chef with expertise in Si Chuan and Dong Bei cuisine.
  • In-depth knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional flavors.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays to accommodate restaurant hours.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining culinary standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
