Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the supply chain management operations, you will be responsible for planning and executing all related procurement activities.

About the Role

The Procurement Specialist will manage procurement activities for fabricated parts, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. You will establish proactive and positive long-term partnerships with quality and key vendors to achieve high quality and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities for fabricated parts to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish proactive and positive long-term partnerships with quality and key vendors to achieve high quality and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and relevant documents using the in-house SCM inventory system.
  • Qualify and select new suppliers, managing vendor relationships effectively.
  • Perform logistics duties for local delivery, including packing, documentation, stuffing & unstuffing, loading & unloading.
  • Receive fabricated and standard parts from local & overseas deliveries as assigned by project teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in procurement and supply chain management is essential.
