Procurement Specialist Opportunity


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation and leadership skills, as well as strong procurement management expertise.

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Identify and establish relationships with profitable suppliers and initiate strategic business partnerships.
  • Align procurement, service management, and corporate objectives to support overall business goals.
  • Represent procurement initiatives at both global and regional levels.
  • Conduct audits on trade documentation and contract terms to mitigate risks, collaborating closely with the legal department to ensure favorable contract terms.
  • Negotiate with internal providers and external vendors to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
  • Authorize the procurement of necessary goods and services in line with company policies.
  • Finalize purchase details for orders, IT services, and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.
  • Review and evaluate existing contracts to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve operational efficiency.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer, or Head of Procurement with a track record of successful procurement management.
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and market analysis.
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in supplier or third-party management software to streamline procurement processes.
  • Excellent decision-making and numerical skills to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis to drive procurement strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities to lead and motivate the procurement team.
