Key Accountabilities:

  • Sales & Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to boost revenue and profitability in the travel essentials category.
  • Category & Product Management: Create and implement a long-term category strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate strong supplier relationships, ensure stock availability, and maintain product quality.
  • Inventory & Pricing Control: Analyze sales and inventory data to optimize stock rotation and turnover.
  • Operational & Merchandising Execution: Maximize sales productivity per shop floor space with close alignment with seasonality and brand performance.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze monthly sales and performance data to guide business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in merchandising, category management, or buying, preferably in duty-free, FMCG, or travel retail.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
