Windows System Administration Specialist

This role sits within our IT Operations Division – Systems Management team. Our primary goal is to design, implement, and maintain Windows-based systems and infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO) for Critical Information Infrastructure (CII).
- We are seeking an experienced professional to ensure compliance, service uptime, quality, and resilience of Windows platforms through Day 2 Operations.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in executing migrations from existing Windows platforms to newer versions or cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement continuous improvements to reduce toil, optimise performance, and align with industry standards while adopting modernisation with minimal impact.
- Develop and manage automation scripts and PowerShell modules to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A relevant university degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Proven experience in Windows system administration and engineering, particularly with Windows Server and associated technologies.
