Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Claims Specialist to join our team at RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head and Department in the smooth and efficient operation of the First Notice of Loss (FNOL) process in accordance with corporate strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Registration and Administration: Ensure that claims are effectively registered and administered in accordance with legal requirements, industry regulations, company guidelines, and standards.
  • Loss Cost Management: Effectively manage loss costs and claim expenses to contribute to organizational profitability.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Claims Division and other departments, as well as external business partners, such as underwriting, risk control, staff counsel, and actuarial partners.
  • Claim Policy and Procedure Development: Make recommendations on claim policy and procedures, and help drive claim initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • FNOL Process Management: Assist the Head and Department in the registration of incoming claims notifications, ensuring proper documentation and completeness of information, setting of initial reserves, and authorizing payments within the designated authority level.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Remain current on state/territory regulations and issues, industry activity, and trends to ensure compliance and make informed decisions.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex claims data and develop effective solutions to drive business results.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and ability to make informed decisions that drive business results.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in claims management software and systems, as well as strong technical skills in areas such as risk assessment, claims handling, and underwriting.
